The show was split into two halves; the first half just myself on piano, performing songs from my second solo album “Songs For Linnéa”. The second half of the concert was an improv, free jam; the band made up of some of my favorite artists that I’m grateful to call friends. This album is for her, to have a physical document of the music from the beginning of her life.”‘Songs For Linnéa’ follows up Chewing’s 2019 debut album ‘Pacific Ocean Blue’: a dark, liberal cover of Dennis Wilson's 1977 album in its entirety, featuring Cults, Nico Segal, POP ETC, and of course his entire band Local Natives contributing their signature west coast harmonies. The album was originally released exclusively on vinyl via Turntable Kitchen. Written, mixed &amp; performed by Nik Ewing.
